hey you guys welcome back to my channel
today is Sunday could it be any quicker
of a week I have to tell ya it has been
a crazy crazy crazy weekend it's just
gone so fast and it's hard because it's
like all he has those days off so I
really works those days so for me the
weekend is like it's just another day of
the week for me um so it's like okay
whatever but it was a good day today I
went out for a little bit and got some
groceries things that I needed to get to
kind of make a bigger selection of
better choices for me in the eating
Department also in the drinking
Department I went and I got some more I
got some more of these so these ones are
great value so they're Walmart brand but
I got lemonade there's zero calories and
I got strawberry watermelon to add to
the lemonade to have like strawberry
lemonade I don't know if it's gonna work
or not but it's worth a try that one's
also zero calorie they're all zero
calorie I got a fruit punch and I got a
pineapple mango so and these have been
working really really good for me I
honestly I haven't had a soda because
I've been drinking these the water's so
much that it's just been fulfilling my
thirst so it makes it nice that I'm not
like wanting or needing so much more
water when I've been able to make my
flavored water and it makes me not want
to have soda at all so that's been nice
and I you know I told myself you know if
I really if
really wanting a soda like really bad
one day I can have it but I only can
have them on all these days off because
those are the days that we run around we
do our errands we do what we need to do
so if those are gonna be the days that I
want a soda to you know go along with
him cuz he gets a soda in the car and so
does well Omar Ness or don't but I mean
they get their juice or whatever so if
it's something that I really want I'm
gonna allow myself to have it on the
days that I know I'm gonna be with Holly
and he's gonna be drinking it it's gonna
be something maybe I want at that time
so I'm not 100% cutting it out but I'm
definitely lessening the amount that I
was drinking once again because I had
gotten such into a bad thing with
drinking soda over anything and that's
just unacceptable it's not okay so
anyways and then what else have I died
just really um I've really been working
on portion control that has been a big
big thing with me is just working and
being more self conscious and cautious
and conscience I guess where I know my
portions because when you're gonna sit
down and eat a mill someone in my
mindset is I can my eyes see much bigger
than actually my stomach but when I'm
eating my eyes and my stomach lied to me
and I will before I know it finish a
whole plate of whatever it is that I'm
eating and I served enough to feed like
two or three people not necessarily true
but I mean feed to people at least so
I've been really just working on my
portions and just being more mindful
when you know I'm wanting something you
know like something that would be sweet
or you know something that probably
isn't something you should probably have
one like a daily basis
I'm just more mindful that I enjoyed
that thing like okay for instance we
bought from Costco they have I can't
even think of the brand of it but
Higgins I think it's the name of it and
they're just like a vanilla ice cream on
a stick but it has like a coating of
chocolate and peanuts or some I don't
know exactly what's on the top but it's
amazing and I would rather have that in
my house than have a you know gallon of
ice cream something like that because I
can get one of those and no okay I you
know I got an ice cream I'm gonna eat it
until it's completely gone because it's
just a one serving and then that's it
I'm not going to sit down but see if I
would have gotten a bowl and you were to
take all those ice creams off of a stick
I could sit there and eat four or five
ice creams and not long not even think
about it until it was completely gone
but because they're on a stick and
they're all individually wrapped
it keeps me accountable to watch my
portion and watch what I'm having I can
have one ice cream versus a bowl of ice
cream and know that I'm getting one
serving and not five servings so that's
kind of like what I've been doing is
just putting myself in more safe
situations with food right now rather
than stripping away or taking away
things making myself feel like I've done
something wrong or that I'm a bad person
because those are all things that I'm
working through with my therapy and my
nutritionist you are not a bad person
for making unhealthy choices and eating
it just shows kind of your relationship
that you have with food and you know I
don't have the healthiest relationship
with food I don't because of multiple
reasons I am in the process of healing
that relationship because I want to have
a healthy relationship with food I want
to have a healthy relationship with my
body but it has to start somewhere and I
have been working very hard at it but
there are times where I think I just get
hung up
I just want to throw the towel in
because I look at myself and I look at
others and I'm like look at them they've
you know successfully lost you know X Y
Z amount of weight it's far into you
know their transformation and I don't
think I'm gonna ever make it and you
know it just seems like it's a forever
job and I know it's always gonna be a
forever job it's always gonna be
something that I struggle with for the
rest of my life I get that but I could
not tell you besides when I lost that
first amount of weight I could not tell
you the last time I really got to
actually wake up and not be an exclusive
pain excuse of pain if I can talk and
it's not it's not the way you want to
live life it really is not so therefore
I am gonna continue going on with my
journey of healthy relationships with my
eating my nutrition my choices of how I
want to eat and build that relationship
the way that it needs to be built for me
not for the way that it's gonna fit any
other individual but only fit me because
I am my own individual there's no one
like me there's no one that is the same
cut out as me I have my own issues with
food and my issues might not be what
somebody else's issues are someone might
have worse issues than even I do so what
I have decided to go ahead and do is I
am going to actually be starting with my
therapist on a workbook and I really
would like to share it with you guys
only because I let me love you put this
out there first I am NOT a nutritionist
I am NOT an expert
I am nothing in between but I am 100%
a victim two diets I am a victim to the
mindset that you have to have a diet in
order to succeed I am a victim in
believing that there's nothing that's
going to fix me unless I take on a diet
that is what I am and if I can help
somebody while I'm transforming to help
them transform their mind thinking the
same way as it's supposed to be I am
willing to share every ounce of
knowledge that gets passed down from me
that I can pass down to you if I can use
my platform to help others in the same
situation that I'm in so that you don't
feel like you're alone I know that I'm
not alone and we can do this all
together and chime in with each other
why not why not do it I am back at my
point where I think we're getting ready
to open
comments-section again and you know so
we can all start intermingling with each
other and start chit chatting and
sharing our you know our experiences you
know you can ask questions I can ask
questions you guys can help me I can
help you but I think doing it all
together would be such an amazing thing
so what my goal today is to let you guys
know what book that I actually purchased
it is on Amazon and I am going to be
working from this book now like I said I
will be working with this book with my
trainer trainer sorry with my therapist
and my nutritionist so as I'm working on
it I definitely will be getting great
insight from the two that I trust most
and then I can come back and share that
news with you guys as well but I first
want to read to you because there are
some people that don't believe in this
philosophy and that's absolutely okay I
mean we all have an opinion and some
will agree and some won't
some might be on the fence of it and not
quite understand it and maybe just want
to know a little more about it before
they were to make a decision to possibly
start thinking more in this you know
direction rather than the diet side so
I'm just gonna read to you really quick
what it is that I'm speaking about so
what I am talking about is intuitive
eating I want to share with you guys a
little bit about what what are the
principles of intuitive eating and where
where is this kind of take you at that
point so what are the principles of
intuitive eating so the first principle
of intuitive eating is to stop dieting
and to stop believing society's messages
that quick fix plans can deliver lasting
results that includes throwing away diet
books and magazine articles and promise
fad weight loss fast weight loss and
rejecting any meal plans that dictate
what or how much you can eat what should
you know about mindful intuitive eating
mindful intuitive eating the perfect
pair turn off or silence your devices
even when eating from home take a moment
to clear your head
appreciate the food that's in front of
you use your senses mindful eating
involves I all five senses so take note
of the appearance aroma and so forth
name the flavors as you eat your mill or
even your snack how to get started with
intuitive eating reject diet culture
throw out books and mag magazines that
you talked about diets and easy or quick
weight loss start using the hunger
fullness scale two of the tenants of
intuitive eating are honor your hunger
ask yourself what is it you want to eat
practice mindful eating mindful eating
is about being conscious about what
you're eating intuitive eat in a tune of
eater is defined as a person
who makes food choices without
expressing guilt or an ethical dilemma
honors hunger rejects fulness and enjoys
the pleasure of eating few of us are
immune from guilt and judgment regarding
our food choices because of the many
sources of food police in our culture is
intuitive eating only for healthy people
to circle back to the initial question
no intuitive eating is not only for
healthy people it is for everyone we
sometimes don't quite know how everyone
is going to get there
other than the fact that it is a long
windy path with lots of hills and
valleys and we're game to find out how
here's how it works on a scale of one to
ten with one being ran vint rena vez and
ten being stuffed okay so one being
starving and ten being stuffed ranked
your hunger halfway through your mill
rank your hunger again using the same
scale of 1 to 10 if you decide to keep
eating finish your mill and wrink your
hunger definition of mindful eating
mindful eating is the practice of
cultivating an open-minded awareness of
how the food we choose to eat affects
one's body filling mind and all the and
all that is around us the product
enhances our understanding of what to
eat how to eat and how much to eat and
why we eat what we eat emotional eating
or emotional hunger is often a craving
for high calorie or high carbohydrate
foods that have minimal nutrition value
the foods that emotional eaters crave
are often referred to as comfort foods
like ice cream cookies chocolate chips
french fries and pizza could intuitive
eating help you lose weight
what intuitive eating and what's
intuitive eating and can it help you
lose weight listen to your body
make peace with all food eat consciously
tree' emotions at the source and rethink
exercise so I'm going to stop right
there with my readings just because it
kind of gives
you a grand idea of what intuitive
eating is stands for and where it's kind
of the path that it takes you there's
also like the question how to raise an
intuitive eater how do I know if I'm
hungry you know and those are all the
things that I think we will hit while
we're in this workbook that we'll be
working on together I will put the
description down the link down in my
description box for it's called the
intuitive eating workbook ten principles
of nourishing a healthy relationship
with food and this is what I'm gonna be
working on and that's why I said I'm you
don't feel obligated to buy the book
because either way I'm still gonna be
sharing it but it's not something you
have to purchase but if it's something
you want to follow along with me it's a
workbook so you're going to be writing
in it and doing all that and we'll work
on it together so that every time we get
together and we are working on this book
we can do it together and I order the
book so my book should be coming on the
8th which will be this coming Tuesday
and I want to jump right in and start so
the day that I'm going to be doing my
intuitive eating workbook scheduled
video will be on Fridays I will make it
go live on Fridays and that day you know
I will be reading with some of the book
I will sit down and answer those
questions and talk to you about them and
that way you'll hear my answers and my
replies along with while you're watching
the video you can be following in and
filling in your parts of the book that
matter to you and then I think maybe
once a month I haven't come up with a
hundred percent on this part but I would
like to do once a month lives just about
intuitive eating and now we can really
start to get together and really talk
back and forth and so let me know drop

Friday's to do just about
intuitive eating and also with that
doing the once a lie once a month lives
that we can all get together and we will
make one day that will go live and I

be and then we can actually like I said
get on and talk to each other and things

I am excited I am ready for change I'm
ready to start revamping this brain of
mine and retaining the the thoughts and
wherever I've been traveling to changing
my path because clearly the path I've
been traveling has not gotten me very
far and so clearly I know I need
something a little bit different I'm not
like I said earlier I am NOT a therapist
I am not at all in any way shape or form
anywhere an expert of this but I will be
walking through this with my
nutritionist and my therapist before I
will even bring it up to you guys so
anyways with that being said I am going
to share with you guys the picture of
the books you guys kind of know what to
look for and okay so I don't know how
clear that's gonna be but that's the
workbook and if you just type in
intuitive eating workbook it will come
up on Amazon and that's the price so the
poops so the prices 2149 it is covered
under the prime so I like I said I
ordered mine today it will be here on
the 8th they do have a few other options
of used books you might be able to find
one a little bit cheaper but anyways
this is the book of we'll be working on
so I can't wait to get started on this
with all of you guys I know I've had
lots and lots and lots and lots of
friends that have come to me and asked
about something similar to this so I
think this is something that's right up
our alley
and keeps us on track and keeps us close
to one another sharing in intimate
conversations about the things that we
struggle with and so yeah anyways let me
